Special Operations Group Selection

The U.S. Marshals Service's Special Operations Group (SOG) conducts the 2024 Selection Course, a multi-month training process to evaluate USMS deputies, or candidates chosen to attend, on becoming members of the SOG team. Candidates undergoing selection endure a physically and mentally demanding process designed to assess their suitability for high-risk operations. The selection course includes rigorous physical fitness tests such as push-ups, sit-ups, a timed run, pull-ups, swimming, rucking and an obstacle course. Candidates also undergo advanced shooting assessments, tactical training, and written exams administered by SOG cadre covering various topics from communication, weapons handling and team tactics. The course is conducted under high-stress conditions to simulate real-world scenarios, testing each candidates’ ability to remain focused, make quick decisions, and work effectively in teams. The 24/7 monitored selection process is challenging, with strict standards and evaluations, aiming to identify individuals who demonstrate the necessary skills, resilience, and determination to become effective team members.

Established in 1971, SOG is a rapidly-deployable elite unit capable of conducting complex and sensitive operations throughout the globe to further the rule of law. SOG handles missions ranging from high-threat prisoner movements, witness security operations, national emergencies, civil disorder, protection of at-risk health facilities and personnel, large scale seizures, actions against anti-government and militia groups, international stability and reconstruction efforts, and other missions as ordered by the U.S. Attorney General.

Особенно учитывая как настроенные все эти типа милицейские группы.

как по мне, для конвоирования заключенных, обеспечения безопасности свидетелей или обеспечения конфискаций, этот отбор и подготовка избыточны.
а вот для контрпартизанских действий и по давлений восстаний на своей земле - вполне

Вон во время блмовских протестов спецназ погранцов использовали.
