В связи с недавней провокацией на Чёрном море у мыса Фиолент я просто не мог не вспомнить об одном малоизвестном событии почти 80-летней давности. «Всем известно», что коварный Ф.Д. Рузвельт если не лично подстроил японский рейд на Пёрл-Харбор, то, как минимум, не поставил о нём в известность своих военных на месте. Тем самым заполучив вожделенный casus belli, позволивший ему втянуть свою страну во Вторую Мировую войну. А в тени этой махровой конспирологии затерялась история о пусть и гораздо более скромных, но зато реальных американских провокациях, преследовавших те же цели.
